About the ACA CPR Cabling Registration website

The ACA CPR Cabling Registration website has been developed by the IT Skills Hub. The website provides a self assessment process to allow cablers to identify their fastest training pathway to meet the registration requirements of the Australian Communications Authority.

The self assessment process does not grant entitlements to accelerated training paths, credits or RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning). However it does allow cablers to determine their likely eligibility for accelerated training paths, credits and RPL.

Once cabling registration candidates have been through the self assessment process they will need to contact their nearest RTO (Registered Training Organisation) which will formally assess their entitlement to any accelerated pathway and confirm the fastest pathway to registration.

RTO’s can also subscribe to the web site and gain access to testbanks for assessing RPL applications. Contact Kevin Fothergill at the IT Skills Hub for details.
